Learn More About the Sustainable Fleets Program - Get Recognized for Leading the Way to Zero-Emission Transportation

The California Air Resources Board (CARB or Board) invites you to participate in an informational webinar hosted by CALSTART on the Sustainable Fleets Program. California medium- and heavy-duty fleet owners are invited to participate in a new program that will recognize fleet operators who are adding zero-emission vehicles to their fleets, no matter their size, location, or composition. Sustainable Fleets is designed to help fleets commit to and achieve their sustainability goals. The informational webinar will cover how participants can gain access to tools and resources to help support their transition to zero-emission operations as well as CALSTART membership benefits just by committing to the program.

The EV Jump Start Funding Lane opens julio 19 and will remain open through Agosto 18, 2023. Electric vehicle (EV) commercial fleet users who meet EnergIIZE equity criteria are encouraged to apply. This includes Tribes, schools in disadvantaged or low-income communities, nonprofits, and more. If you meet EnergIIZE equity criteria, then this funding lane is especially for you!

Staff invite dealers, their financing partners, leasing and rental companies, or truck-as-a-service providers to participate in a public webinar hosted by the project administrator CALSTART. Attendees will hear an overview of the ISEF program and updates to the guidelines. Innovative Solution Voucher Providers must complete a Provider Eligibility Application to request vouchers on behalf of their customers. Provider Eligibility Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, but Providers should submit by Agosto 15 to ensure their offering is approved prior to voucher requests opening on Agosto 30, 2023.

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a remote-access (Zoom) work group on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023-24 Long-Term Heavy-Duty Investment Strategy. The Strategy, built upon previous years’ work, is required under Senate Bill 1403, the California Clean Truck, Bus, and Off-Road Vehicle and Equipment Technology Program (Lara, Chapter 370, Statutes of 2018), and includes an update on school buses operating throughout the State. This document will be incorporated into the upcoming FY 2023-24 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives.

The work group meeting will be held via Zoom at the following date and time. A meeting agenda will be provided on the Low Carbon Transportation Investments and AQIP Meetings and Workshops webpage prior to the meeting date.

Staff invite small fleets interested in accessing funding for class 2b-class 8 zero-emission vehicles to participate in an informational session on ISEF hosted by the project administrator CALSTART. The program will open for voucher requests on Agosto 31 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific. Eligible small fleets may request either a Standard Purchase Voucher, or an Innovative Solution Provider Voucher. Fleets must work with an approved ISEF Provider to apply for an Innovative Solution Provider Voucher to access zero-emission vehicles through a rental, lease, truck-as-a-service, or other agreement. Approved providers will work with eligible dealers to request the voucher on the participating fleet's behalf. ISEF aims to provide small businesses with flexibility, and thus fleets should explore the different options that will be offered by Providers upon approval.
