Policy Work Group Meeting: FY2023-24 HVIP, CORE, and ISEF (8/10/2023)

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a Webinar work group meeting on the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), Clean Off-Road Equipment Voucher Incentive Project (CORE), and Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot (ISEF) as we develop polices leading up to the fiscal year (FY) 2023-24 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives (Funding Plan). This meeting is an opportunity to provide input to CARB staff to define proposed policy changes, new implementation mechanisms, and eligibility criteria for the upcoming FY.

The work group meeting will be held via Zoom webinar at the following date and time:

Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (PDT)
Location: Zoom

To participate in the work group, please register before Agosto 10, 2023, 8:00 a.m. (PDT) at the latest. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information to join the webinar either through a computer, digital device or via conference line.

This work group meeting will be recorded, and the recording and participation list will be made available to the public via CARB’s webpage. The meeting may end prior to the specified end time if all questions and comments are addressed prior to the designated webinar end time. There is no in-person attendance option for this meeting.

Background

California Climate Investments Low Carbon Transportation Funding

The Low Carbon Transportation program is part of California Climate Investments, a statewide program that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy and improving public health and the environment, particularly in disadvantaged communities. CARB’s Low Carbon Transportation Program is designed to accelerate the transition to low carbon freight and passenger transportation with a priority on providing health and economic benefits to California’s most disadvantaged communities. Annual Funding Plan

The annual funding plan is each year’s blueprint for expending Low Carbon Transportation and AQIP funds appropriated to CARB in the State budget. For more information about the FY 2023-24 Funding Plan, please visit the Funding Plan website.
