HVIP Wave 2 Opens to Accept Voucher Requests Today
August 10, 2021

The Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) will open to new voucher requests at 10 a.m. Pacific today, Tuesday, August 10. HVIP will open with its wave 2 of funding (approximately $12 million) to new voucher requests on a first-come, first-served basis.

Available voucher funds can be viewed in real-time in the blue bar at the top of the page at any time once the program is open. More information about participating in HVIP is available in our FAQs.

Additional HVIP funds are expected this fall. More information will be provided when available from the California Air Resources Board. If you are interested in purchasing an HVIP eligible vehicle, visit our catalog of vehicles on our website at From our catalog, you will be able to see what is available and connect with Approved Dealers that can work with you to secure a voucher request.
