HVIP’s Third Wave of Funding Fully Requested (10/28/2021)

HVIP’s Third Wave of Funding Fully Requested
October 28, 2021

The Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) opened to new voucher requests on October 28 with $62 million available. Wave 3 of FY20-21 funding has now been fully requested. Additional funds are expected to be available early 2022.

• In support of CARB’s Project 800 effort to deploy class 8 tractors performing port drayage operations, requests for drayage vehicles that exceed the $62 million will remain on a waitlist for funding. Affected parties will be notified during the initial voucher review period which is now underway.
• Check our website www.californiaHVIP.org for future updates and the latest information.
• For questions about dealer training, please contact [email protected].
• For questions about the status of specific voucher requests, please contact the Voucher Processing Center at [email protected]. Dealers should expect voucher-specific outreach from the Voucher Processing Center during review.
