Public Work Group Meeting for Innovative Small E-Fleets for the FY 2021-22 Funding Plan (4/13/2021)

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a public work group Zoom meeting to discuss Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 program development for the Innovative Small E-Fleets Project. Recommendations are to be included in the FY 2021-22 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Historically, the legacy Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) has been successful in accelerating the transition from carbon intensive heavy duty vehicle fleets to zero-emission heavy duty fleets; however, many small fleets and owner operators struggle to dedicate the capital necessary to become early adopters of zero-emission technology. The Innovative Small E-Fleets Project will be a program focused on these small businesses to increase their adoption of zero-emissions technologies. Among other topics, this meeting will discuss creative solutions that encourage zero-emission truck adoption to help California achieve its ambitious climate goals.

The meeting notice and agenda are posted to the program website.
