The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a Webinar/Teleconference work group meeting on the implementation of Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 policy for the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) from the Board-approved FY 2021-22 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives (Funding Plan). Each year, staff conducts additional public process following Board approval of the Funding Plan to define new mechanisms and criteria for the FY while completing annual updates to the Implementation Manual. In addition, stakeholders will be engaged as staff establishes protocol to successfully reopen the project after limited funding was exhausted in 2021. The meeting agenda is available.

While facing increased calls to reduce emissions and comply with tightening regulations, fleets in California’s Central Valley across all weight classes and sectors need to understand what grants and incentives for alternative fuel vehicles and infrastructure are available now.

Join the HVIP School Bus Team 11am-12pm (PT) on Wed., March 2nd for a working group meeting on the available and upcoming funding opportunities for electric school buses (ESBs), including the HVIP Public School Bus Set-Aside for Small and Medium Air Districts. The March 2nd working group is a part of a series of monthly California Electric School Bus Working Group Meetings, convened by CALSTART.

The California Air Resources Board (CARB) invites you to participate in a public work group meeting on the implementation of the Innovative Small e-Fleets $25 million set-aside within the Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP), which was approved as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives (Funding Plan). The Innovative Small e-Fleets set-aside is intended to pilot funding for incentives geared towards helping small trucking fleets and independent owner operators access zero-emission trucks. At this meeting, staff will engage with stakeholders to define new mechanisms and criteria for the Innovative Small e-Fleets set-aside and develop associated updates to the Implementation Manual. The meeting agenda will be posted to the Low Carbon Transportation Investments and Air Quality Improvement Program website ahead of the meeting.
