On July 11, 2019, the California Transit Association and the California Hydrogen Business Council co-hosted a webinar in a four-part series that addressed the transit agency perspective and funding opportunities through both state and federal programs. During Fund the Fleet: Funding Mechanisms to Assist and Accelerate ZEB Deployment, HVIP presented in this webinar on incentives available for hydrogen buses. Oakland, CA

On July 17, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) hosted one of it’s One Stop Truck Events at TEC Equipment in Oakland, CA. This event was attended by more than 100 drivers, owners, and fleets. CARB discussed regulations, new technology, and funding incentives. At the event, there was a on-site mock inspection area with staff demonstrating and explaining the process. Other informational booths included compliance assistance, local agencies, dealers, truck service providers, and incentive program information.

Sacramento, CA

On July 17, 2019 the California Air Resources Board (CARB) hosted a Work Group Meeting for Heavy-Duty Projects in the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Funding Plan in Sacramento, CA. CARB sought input from stakeholders on heavy-duty vehicle and off-road equipment investments as part of the upcoming FY 2019-202 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives, which includes funding for the Air Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) and Low Carbon Transportation Investments. This meeting included discussion of potential heavy-duty demonstration and pilot project categories, as well as potential changes to HVIP. On March 31, 2020, the HVIP team is participating in the Top Three Incentive Programs for Electrifying Your Fleet webinar. During this webinar, HVIP, the Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP), and the Clean Off-Road Voucher Incentive Project (CORE) will cover program eligibility, funding amounts and application processes.
