Effective 1/1/23, voucher amounts will be adjusted according to the table below. California Native American Tribal Governments and 501(c)(3) nonprofits are exempt from the reductions. Additionally, purchases of fuel cell vehicles are not subject to the reductions. Requests from fleets larger than 100 submitted between 1/1/23 and 4/3/23 will not progress to the status of ‘Accepted Pending Signed Forms’ in the online Voucher Processing Center until on or after 4/3/23, to allow for the release of the new Implementation Manual, dealer training, and VPC system upgrades.

Also, a bulk purchase is required for private fleets size larger than 500, effective 1/1/23. Bulk purchases are not required for fuel cell vehicles; they can be purchased in any quantity. Also, 501(c)(3) nonprofits are exempt from the bulk purchase requirement. See more details at www.californiahvip.org/funding.
