Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Project (ISEF) is Closed
ISEF will reopen with approximately $15 million upon the release of an updated Implementation Manual planned for August 2025
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is announcing the temporary closure of the Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Project (ISEF) due the exhaustion of funds driven by high demand. ISEF is planned to reopen in mid-August 2025, following the release of an updated Implementation Manual and system processing updates.
ISEF will reopen with nearly $15M million in previously approved funding, allocated through the Air Quality Improvement Program as part of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives.
An Implementation Public Workgroup will be held on May 30, 2025, to cover policy changes and updates to the program implementation manual. For more details, please visit the Low Carbon Transportation Incentives and AQIP Meetings and Workshops webpage .
An overview of the program and updated funding information can be found on the California HVIP website.
