How to Participate in HVIP’s School Bus Set Aside Workshop (5/5/2022)

If you are an eligible applicant interested in the Public School Bus Set-Aside and unable to attend the ‘How to Participate’ Workshop on April 12th, please join us on May 5th!

Join the CALSTART school bus team in an in-depth walk through to the Public School Bus Set-Aside for Small and Medium Air Districts (The Public School Bus Set-Aside). The intent of this workshop is to provide set-aside participants with the tools to be successful in the initial funding request. The workshop will explain eligibility requirements and the two-step application process. Our goal is to help as much as possible. Please come with questions!

In FY21-22, $122 million is available for purchases of qualifying school buses made by public school districts and other qualifying entities in small-sized air districts and in medium-sized air districts. The Public School Bus Set-Aside will offer higher voucher amounts, prioritize fleet owners in rural and underserved communities. For more information, please go to californiahvip.org/purchasers.
