Funding Updates

ISEF is Now Accepting Voucher Requests

The Innovative Small E-Fleet (ISEF) set-aside in HVIP opened on August 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific! ISEF provides incentives for small fleets that seek to deploy battery electric or hydrogen fuel cell trucks. The total amount of funding available for ISEF incentives is $23.6 million. Voucher requests will be accepted until funding has been exhausted, or until February 28, 2023, whichever comes first. Updates on funding availability will be posted to the Funding Summary on californiahvip.org.

Only HVIP approved dealers who are associated with an ISEF Provider will be able to access the ISEF application within the Voucher Processing Center. Interested small fleets should find a Provider using the Provider Directory at californiahvip.org/isef. Small fleets must be privately owned or non-profit trucking companies in California with 20 or fewer trucks and less than $15 million per year in annual revenue, owner operators also qualify.

In case you missed it, check out the ISEF Webinar recordings and slides, which contain a detailed walkthrough of Implementation Manual and steps to participate.

If you have any questions, please visit californiahvip.org/isef for more information, or email the ISEF team at [email protected].
