The Governor’s Fiscal Year 2021\-22 Budget proposal includes $465 million for Low Carbon Transportation Investments using Cap\-and\-Trade auction proceeds from 2020\-21 and 2021\-22 budget years, with a total of $315 million for heavy duty and off\-road investments\.

This work group will include discussion of potential heavy\-duty demonstration and pilot project categories, as well as potential changes to the Clean Truck and Bus Voucher project \(HVIP\), the Clean Off\-Road Equipment Voucher project \(CORE\), and the Truck Loan Assistance Program\. The work group will also introduce and seek input on the new Innovative Small e\-Fleets project focusing on small owner/operator fleets in disadvantaged communities\.
