Low Carbon Transportation: Heavy-Duty Project Showcase (3/19/2019)

On March 19, 2019, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) hosted its first ever Low Carbon Transportation: Heavy-Duty Project Showcase at the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, CA. This event served as forum for grantees of CARB-funded demonstration and pilot projects. Participants and project partners discussed key findings, lessons, impacts, and what’s next for the industry in heavy-duty application for the state of California. Panel sessions included topics such as Low NOx and Efficiency Innovations, Fuel Cell Electric Innovations, and Battery Electric Innovations. Each project CARB-funded demonstration and pilot project since fiscal year 2014/2015, provided updates on their projects through a poster session. Participants were able to learn more about each project through the posters are well as network with the project partners. This event was co-located with CALSTART’s California 2030 Summit, which allowed participants to view CALSTART’s Advanced technology vehicle display near the State Capitol.
